This is me. What you see is what you get. It’s all about me! Donna!

Seriously… It’s me. Donna. It’s always been all about me, but for a long time was about someone else. Now it’s time to be all about me again. I’ve earned it. I deserve it.

I live in Urban Sprawl, Texas. It used to be a sleepy town of less than 2,000. In fact, the last census counted about 1,700 heads. No more. There’s at least 40,000 or more living in the area. It really sucks. Those darn newbies moving out here from the big city, bringing it all with them. I used to be considered an outsider by many here because I didn’t have five generations buried in the town cemetery, let alone one. Well, that’s not true anymore. I still don’t have any family members buried here, but I’ve lived here long enough to where many think I’m a local. How could I not be? It’s all about me!

OK. I’ll add a little more. I know you’re just dyng to know who the hell I am. I’m Donna. I’m a horseperson who thoroughly enjoys carriage driving. I’m a magazine editor and publisher… www.CarriageDrivingWorld.com. I’m one of the founders of the North Texas Whip. I’ve recently taken up rowing and am an active member of the Fort Worth Rowing Club. Who knew there was rowing in Cowtown. I used to sail, but unfortunately have not been out on the water under wind power in a number years. However, I do have a Nacra catamaran sitting out in the pasture just waiting to be put to use again. I’ve been a technical writer for the last umpteen years at places like DynCorp International and BNSF Railway. Most recently managed Web content at Sabre Airline Solutions. Currently I am seeking a new adventure where I can use my current skills and continue growing the new skills I’ve gained over the last 20 months. In other words, I’m in the unemployment line. You hiring? Let’s talk!
