It’s all about Donna

I started taking rowing lessons a few weeks ago at the Fort Worth Rowing Club. Stop laughing. It’s not as easy as it looks. In fact, today I thought sailing was easier. Every Saturday morning since mid May I’ve been out on the water trying to figure this all out. I’ve determined I really need time on the water to get comfortable. I know I over-think the whole process. I’m working on it.

I had no clue what I was getting into when I raised my hand. I have VD (volunteer disease). I work at a progressive company that allows telecommuting. Not only do they allow it, they promote and encourage it. They have created a truly wonderful environment for the mobile employee; at least in my eyes they have.

Welcome to life in my day.

I open this blog at the urging of my friends. This is not the first time this has happened. They’ve made suggestions like this before and man have I ended up doing some crazy things as a result. Yeah… I’m a risk taker. I can divulge that small tidbit about me.

With this blog I thee wed. Ha! That was a joke. It just slipped out. Seriously… or maybe not so seriously, with this blog I’ll be sharing snippets of the life in my day. And believe me, I have a lot of life in my days!
